Dr. Conti Participates in Wear Red Day Interview with GTN News

On Friday, February 5th, UF Health participated in the National Wear Red Day event. This day helps raise awareness and promote prevention of heart disease, which is the leading cause of death for both men and women. GTN News stopped by to capture this event and learn more about the cause from our very own Dr. C. Richard Conti, who called the event a heart celebration.

“This is designed to educate the public on what we’re doing in cardiovascular disease, both in medicine and surgery.” said Dr. Conti. “Americans are living a lot longer than they have ever lived, and part of that is related to the treatment of risk factors.
