Dr. David Lew is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Florida’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Director of the Leesburg Regional Medical Center (LRMC) Cardiac Catheterization Center. Dr. Lew received his MD degree at the University of Florida. He subsequently received his internal medicine and cardiology fellowship training at the University of Florida.   Dr. Lew currently serves as an off-site faculty member and directs the LRMC Heart Institute in Lake County.

Academic/Research Interests:

  • Dr. Lew is a board certified interventional cardiologist with expertise in both coronary and peripheral vascular intervention, including endovascular aortic stent graft procedures. His research interests include primary angioplasty and stenting in acute myocardial infarction, evaluation of myocardial viability utilizing myocardial SPECT studies, and aortic stent graft procedures.
