Edgar Rodriguez, PA
Edgar Rodriguez is a Physician Assistant to the University of Florida’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. After finishing medical school at the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador, he completed five years of Residency and Fellowship in Emergency Surgery and Anesthesiology. He received his PA license from the Department of Health of the State of Florida/Board of Medicine. Mr. Rodriguez has been in the Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program since 1998, providing acute cardiovascular care to the sickest population in the field of Heart Failure. He has also been involved with the management of immunosuppression, cardiovascular stabilization and recovery to patients that have received a heart transplant.
