About William L Hicks, II
William “Will” L. Hicks II is a proud cardiology fellow at the University of Florida and originally from Columbia, SC. Prior to joining the Gator cardiology family, Will swam competitively and served as captain for the East Carolina University swim team. He won three American Athletic Conference gold medals in the Breaststroke events and helped lead the Pirates to back-to-back conference titles in 2016 and 2017. Will then attended medical school at VCOM Carolinas and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Central Florida. In his free time, he enjoys golf, grilling, and cheering on the Orange and Blue in the Swamp! Go Gators!
