About Diego Moguillansky

Hello, my name is Dr. Diego Moguillansky and I am an associate professor here at the University of Florida. I am board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, adult cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, cardiovascular nuclear medicine, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and echocardiography. I am the Medical Director of the adult congenital heart disease program, a multidisciplinary program focused in the care of adult patients with complex forms of congenital heart disease.

I attended the University of Pittsburgh where I received my master’s degree in clinical research, then I earned my medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires. I completed internal medicine and pediatrics residencies at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. I also completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Children’s Hospital Pittsburgh, and an adult cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Presbyterian Hospital (UPMC). I also completed an additional cardiac MRI fellowship at UPMC.

Aside from my interest in adult congenital heart disease, I am involved in all aspects of cardiac imaging, including the performance and interpretation of pediatric and adult echocardiograms (transthoracic and transesophageal), cardiac magnetic resonance studies, cardiac CT scans and cardiac nuclear medicine studies.

I am a member of the UF Health Sports and Exercise Cardiology program as well as the adult pulmonary hypertension program. As a member of the pediatric and adult echo labs, as well as the UF cardiac imaging team, I work with a joint team of radiologists and cardiologists that jointly interpret cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and cardiac nuclear medicine studies.
